The Intersection of Madness And Reality: If John McCain were President...

  • Wizzy Jr. · 1 month ago
    The U.S would be an interesting place, that's for sure. More interesting than NOW.
  • RiPPa · 1 month ago
    How so?
  • Wizzy Jr. · 1 month ago
    Well, the topper would be Sarah Pallin would be Vice President and if (God Forbid) Johnny croaked anytime soon, she'd be runnin' shit. I know you've heard her talk. Nuff said.

    But the Good outta that would be Saturday Night Live will NEVER run outta material to make fun of her with.
  • RainaHavock · 1 month ago
    Oh Lord that would be interesting as it would be terrifying.
  • RiPPa · 1 month ago
    Yeah, Palin would have already played to God for McCain to die.
  • Reggie · 1 month ago
    If John McCain were president he could have become the first sitting president with commercial endorsement power, he'd have Viagra and Depends on lock!!!!
  • EddieBlueEyes · 1 month ago
    "9) If John McCain were president right now there would be no Michael Steele. Nope, instead of being the HNIC of the RNC, he'd probably be shining shoes in DC or picking cotton on the property of one of McCain's relatives in Mississippi. Which is actually a bad thing because I actually happen to like laughing at him."

    LOL!

    Fox would be spiking right about now.
  • RiPPa · 1 month ago
    Yeah, FOK would still be lying about their "Spike"...!
  • mk · 1 month ago
    Brother Rippa, no functional difference would exists. Every difference would be only superficial.
  • RiPPa · 1 month ago
    That's a very good point. The illusion of "change" would be dead.
  • mk · 1 month ago
    which is why the corporations, those greedy individuals, pay all political parties to "keep the dream alive" brother rippa
  • Kit (Keep It Trill) · 1 month ago
    Didn't Granpa McCain say "I Know How To Catch Osama"?

    He still ain't told us. Guess he's mad that he lost the Election.
  • RiPPa · 1 month ago
    Nah Kit, if McCain was president Osama Bin Laden would get the Nobel Peace Prize. lol
  • sunnydelyte21 · 1 month ago
    Interesting thought. I agree the taxe would've been raised. Other than that I don't think it would be any different than things are now. Obama is still trying to clean up Bush's mess.
  • Brian · 1 month ago
    You know, I voted for Obama and still like him. But you are way off on John McCain. Whatever his faults, he is an honorable man. And you come off as a knee-jerk racist yourself.
  • RiPPa · 1 month ago
    Relax pal, it's called satire or political humor. That said, the "racist"
    accusation sounds a tad bit reactionary or dare I say "knee-jerked", doesn't
    it?

    Brian:

    It is not his own "Knee" that my friend RiPPa "jerks".

    Did you see the picture of his girl on the front of his blog?

    I can't say that I blame him for jerking off.

    Simply freaking amazing.
    And you call yourselft Black conscious.

    First let's start from the BLACK PERMANENT INTERESTS and then radiate OUTWARD.

    * Safe Streets
    * Quality Education
    * Thriving Local Economy
    * Healthy Lifestyles

    You see RiPPa - in the Black community the MACHINE that Barack Obama sits atop of has dominate control over far more key INSTITUTIONS that Black people look toward locally to provide for our "civic services".

    Whereas no doubt your friends were stimulated at the attempt to kick the GOP via your post. The truth is not quite as you make it.

    Thus the proper way to analyze PRESIDENT Barack Obama and the Federal Democrats that now have majority in both houses of Congress is to do a BLACK COMMUNITY CENTRIC scrutiny.

    Note - I DID NOT SAY that "All Americans" need to do this.
    Most certainly BLACK CONSCIOUS people should. Otherwise our people will continue to do the one off - seeking to build up the Democratic left all the while being sold out where it counts.

    Thus RiPPa:

    1) What Educational Advancements have been lined up in the past year as Federal Democrats worked with the local Democrats that administer the schools where we live in our highest concentrations?

    2) With regard to our public safety - Having lived through what I call "The Bloody Summer Of 2009" - exactly what public policies are going to be put in place to insure that 2010 won't see as much Black blood being shed on the streets and our people terrorized at home?

    3) (Part 2) Whereas the Eisenhower sent federal troops and his attorney general to keep the Blacks safe from attack by a White mob.......how does the fact that Obama sent the Attorney General and the EDU Secretary to Chicago to address the murder of a young Black male after he was clubbed in he head? PROGRESS?

    4) With the nation's unemployment rate now at 10.2% - What does this mean for the Black community, who's rate is even higher than this? Has the MACHINE that we have voted for and which is now in power locally, state wide and nationally done anything that you can point to THAT ACTUALLY WORKED?

    5) On the health front - what are the bright spots with respect to Black health care outcomes that you can point to that these elected officials, working in conjunction with the individuals in our community done to express OUR OWN VALUE that has been turned into longer, healthier lives?

    (RiPPa - if someone said that your consciousness has been sold out to politics - you would not agree with them one bit - would you?)
  • RiPPa · 1 month ago
    *sigh*

    So you're suggesting that under the control of the right-wing locally,
    Blacks and other minorities would fare better?
  • Constructive_Feedback · 1 month ago
    *sigh*
    *sigh*

    I AM SAYING that the DRUG that we were sold, PROMISING that if we did take the blue pill, our problems would be solved WAS A FRAUD.

    Do you see how you and Filled Negro think in a deconstructive manner?

    For decades you and other operatives have ACTIVELY promoted a particular machine to power. Now that they have POWER over every single institution in our community AND THE RESULTS HAVE BEEN TEPID.........your only recourse is to get someone to tell us HOW THINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN ANY BETTER if we got addicted on the RED PILL.

    This is MENTALLY WEAK OF YOU RiPPa!!!!!

    If you were intellectually honest (and not sold out) you would note that NEITHER PILL has been effective nor ever can be.

    It would cause your intellectual curiosity to percolate and have you wondering if in fact there is ANOTHER DOMAIN that you are not considering for our fix.

    Maybe there is a place beyond the AMERICAN POLITICAL SYSTEM that our people need for DEVELOPMENT?

    The point is, however, that you are NEVER going to disrupt a DEMOCRATIC campaign rally in front of Black folks that is making all sorts of promises as you rebuke the speaker, demanding that they PROVE THEIR CLAIMS ABOUT THE FUTURE using the past or cease and desist from making such claims. That YOU must protect the honor of the Black Community OVER the favored political course held by the masses. You CANNOT STAND SILENT ANY LONGER - you lament.

    You, Filled Negro and most other "Democrats who are Black" are happy that Blacks vote 90% Democrat. You are content that the Democrats will insure that we are FED despite having no more ability to organically provide these needed services out of our own community and thus employ our own people.

    You need to check yourself RiPPa.
